Guests consistently appreciate The Lucky Hotel's central location, with convenient access to the tram and just a short stroll to the seaside. The rooms are generally considered a good size, many featuring modern furnishings and decor; the bathrooms include a separate, full-sized shower. The bar and restaurant downstairs create a vibrant atmosphere, and some guests have enjoyed views overlooking the inner courtyard; plus, a 10% discount at a partner breakfast spot on Market Street is a welcome bonus. the photos online did not accurately reflect the room i stayed in. natural lighting was minimal. this discrepancy between expectations and reality was a bit disappointing.

The restaurant was downstairs. That was very convenient for late dinner decisions. A bar was attached to the building. This also helped with decision-making. The food was AMAZING!!!
The stairs to my room needed vacuuming.

The location was great. It was close to the centre and beach. There was a light rail station, cafes and restaurants nearby too! The shower WAS nice in my room.
I didn't realise the rooms were directly above the bar. The noise and lack of privacy at night surprised me.
